The Process
The vehicle wrap process involves a few simple steps:
Design » Production » Install » Remove/replace
The first step is the design process, during which you will consult with your chosen wrap provider about your advertising goals and desired look of the wrap. The graphic designer will then work up a proof for you to approve.
Once you've finalized the design, the production phase of your wrap will begin. Your design will be printed on large sections of a special kind of vinyl meant for use on vehicles, and then laminated to provide weather-resistance and the desired finish - usually gloss or matte.
Installation usually takes 1-2 days, depending on the size and difficulty of your particular vehicle, and will usually occur in our Katy located facililty. Our installers utilize a variety of industry tools, including a plastic squeegee for application, a razor knife to trim the edges, and a torch to heat the vinyl for better workability.
Once you have your wrap, it can remain on the vehicle for up to 4 years, at which point the adhesive will start to become permanent and you will need to have it removed and replaced.
